Does repainting the lawn jockey make a difference?

One of the summer people cabins has a lawn jockey at the end of its driveway. The current owners of the cabin acquired said lawn jockey and put it there. When they got the lawn jockey, he was black like a... like a lawn jockey. He was not brown, his skin was pitch black except for the whites of his eyes and his red lips. In the twenty-or-so years since they acquired the lawn jockey (which is on a dirt road at their summer home where only their very good friends can see him and the rest of the world does not know how racist they are), his paint faded and he started to look shabby instead of just racist. So, they repainted him. Now he's a white guy with curly hair.



Is this better? Worse? Still racist? Discuss.

I want to hit the lawn jockey with the snowplow but then I'll have to pay for the damn thing and that's throwing good money after bad and also people do have the right to put racist shit beside the driveways of their summer homes if they want. Even if it's racist and offensive.
