Sep. 27th, 2010 08:10 pmThe NYT is claiming that only 26% of Americans eat real vegetables (not french fries) 3 times a day. I didn't, today. Breakfast: 1 slice ww bread with Jif extra-crunchy on it. Lunch: 1 large sweet potato, baked, with butter. Dinner: 1/2 small head cauliflower, in florets, salted well and roasted with a smear of evoo on the pan and seven or so cloves of garlic. And 1 slice ww bread with Jif extra-crunchy on it. The day also included a home-made granola bar at Heather's, a handful of Froot Loop cereal, a snickers bar, and a handful of pepperments from Mrs. I at 321. Oh, and hot tea with sugar in it. Only two vegetables, today, one at lunch and one at dinner.
