Busy day yesterday. I got a lot of woodpile work done. Things are really moving along on the woodpile front. That was about all I got done, though I also planted the four cilantro plants from the farmer's market and the marigold from the heroin tenant (it was a school mother's day project that they left behind when they moved out two steps in front of the constable). Also, grandma fell and broke her hip yesterday. They're doing surgery today to put a pin in it. We'll see how that goes. Grandma is 94, so, y'know, not a spring chicken.

Grandma's out of surgery. She lived through it. The doctor said that her bones were softer than he'd have liked but not all that bad for ninety-four. They are planning to have her doing weight-bearing exercise tomorrow. Me, personally, I think they are optimists.

In other news, I made ratatouille for dinner.
