which_chickI did fuck-all today. Well, fuck-all and two loads of laundry. I also read Moneyball by Michael Lewis. It's a book about baseball and statistics and inefficient markets and the Oakland A's. I don't even fucking *watch* baseball but that was rather more interesting than I expected it to be and a pretty solid way to kill two hours. (I went back and read the good parts twice. The fact that I thought there were good parts in such a book says rather a lot about me.)
I also spent a disturbing amount of time today reading CLex. Some things you just don't get tired of, and for me one of those things is the depth and breadth of Smallville fandom. There are some amazingly pervy folks writing for that fandom. Yay! Today's topic of amusement: auto-erotic asphyxiation. Not only are the people over in CLex-land amazingly pervy, they have *fun* with the writing of the kink.
Also learned a new word: figging. (This was not actually something I learned from Clex fanfic but it certainly could have been. I got it off of Fleshbot, which is an amazingly educational website despite annoying me because "heterosexual" fleshbot is nekkid chix0rs and "homosexual" fleshbot is nekkid m3ns and I'm not really sure, given all that, whether or not I'm supposed to be "heterosexual" or "homosexual" or if, really, I'm not supposed to be reading the damn thing at all by virtue of not being a guy in the first fucking place. *sigh* I hate it when my fucking gender politics issues interfere with my enjoyment of porn.) At any rate, every time I have ever stopped myself to ask something like People actually do that?, the answer has been yes. Right. You don't have to draw me a picture, internet. I can be taught. I'm not asking anymore. Of course people actually do that. Certainly. No matter what it is, people do it.
