With the technical details of getting episodes off DVD and in creditable .avi format at ~200 Mb per episode under control, the next question at hand is determining what episodes of WK are most typical? In a fair and unbiased world, I would not be both the person asserting that Weiss has more cheese than Wisconsin AND the person selecting the example episodes, that's what happens when there's not really enough funding to do the thing up proper. This is my project and I can do what I want.

Episode 3: The Asuka Episode. All of the florists have Tragic Pasts (tm) and this is a pretty concise one without being as homoerotic as the Kase episode. Aya's Tragic Past (tm) is too sprawly to do up in one episode, and Omi's Tragic Past (tm) is pretty much the huge Takatori storyarc. Ken and Yohji are the only two who have nice, single-episode Tragic Past (tm) expositions.

Episode 10: The Most Dangerous Game. It's one of the better plot rip-offs, displays those fucked-up Takatori folks, has badly-animated dogs, and incredibly gay Omi-dancing scenes. It's delightfully bad.

I'm sort of stuck for the third. I really do like the "Omi suspended and being beaten" thing in episode 11. I also like the Shuuichi/Reiji confrontation in 15. I think the wonky kidnap-the-sister thing that occupies the second half of the series is sort of incomprehensible in small doses, so it's problematic even if it DOES have Aya as a construction worker. The Rutz episode might work nicely. It also explains the huge amount of fascination fangirls have with Farf. The other bad guys don't get their very own episodes, but Farf... Ah, Farf. Yeah. We'll give him The Rutz Episode (18).
