Date: 2024-12-31 03:59 am (UTC)I basically ruined my own life by taking an ambulance to the local hospital when I got heat stroke at work and was uninsured. I didn't know that's what it was at the time - I just suddenly got dizzy and barely made it to the bathroom before I threw up and nearly shit myself, I couldn't stand upright and my vision went completely white. I was scared, and so I went to the hospital, and I will probably never recover from the credit hit of all that going to collections.
Short term memory loss that persists that way is definitely hospital-worthy, but fuuuuuck. Fuck. I'm sorry for your friend.
