(This is not about my continued inability to lose weight or the size of my post-menopausal pants.)

Accomplishments! I have some!

For the room remodel project, I patched the ceiling holes. I finished all the wall/ceiling painting in the remodel, 2 coats everywhere. I painted all the baseboard trim (2 coats). Permanent Plant Shelf assembly complete and install of same mostly-done except for lights (not here yet). I am hoping my flooring peeps have good news for me on the flooring front this coming week, if that does happen, I can maybe get the flooring down over the holiday. #excited but mostly #readytobedone

For the horses: Cleaned out chicken coop hallway floor (the temporary, week-of-hay hay storage area) and raked wasted bits of hay off feeder platform and down into the yard. Moved eight bales of hay down from real barn to chicken coop. Rode on Friday but did project stuff Saturday and Sunday.

For the kitchen: Stuffed and roasted my 'grocery store points need to be used up or you will lose them' turkey, made gravy, butchered turkey, boiled carcass for stock, am currently waiting for stock to finish cooling so that I can strain it and bag it for freezing. That'll get done tonight before bed. Froze some of the meat for adding to noodle soup at a later date, will be eating the rest in gravy or turkey salad. Scraps from the stock project will make some Very Happy Doggos over at Lala's house.

(I do not do Thanksgiving at my house, I do it at Lala's house, and I do not need or get leftover turkey from her holiday. So, this will be my pre-Thanksgiving leftover turkey and/or ingredients for delicious soups all winter long. Plus if I didn't get the fucking free turkey the points would be gone and I wouldn't have anything to show for them. Last year I got a spiral-sliced ham (because that was the freebie I had enough points for) and it was so, so, so fucking sweet and did not serve well for ham/green beans/potatoes or ham/bean soup or split pea soup. I mean, I did it anyway and I ate the overly-sweet ham, but... ew. The turkey is less objectionable and will be more... flexible in terms of what I can do with it.)

Plus also I did some Laundry, an ever-popular weekend activity. I am not excited about laundry but it was a Thing I Did.

I also watered (and logged - each of the plants has a page in the plant notebook and I make a dated entry when I see them do things or do things to them like feed, water, or rotate them.) the plants that needed water. A fair number of the plants are succulents (jade, sedum, xmas cactus, aloe, haworthia) and don't need water much. The rest of the plants get watered when they need water, which is usually weekly but also depends on relative humidity in the house.
