Cast is neon green so that marker will show up on it for Trys's boy to sign the cast. He is very excited about this... and someone should be having a good time with it.
While at the ER on Sunday, bp was 128/86 so they gave me a handout about bp being high and said to talk with my everyday doc about it. And I was like I hate hospitals and I have a broken wrist so I am not at my best right now. "You should still get it checked out." hmph.
Today at the orthopedist, bp was 108/66. I am 52 years old. This is LEGIT OK blood pressure. Yelling at me about slightly elevated bp when I am in the ER with a busted wrist is kinda dumb.
Also the ortho gave me a handout about being fat. With all my clothes and shoes on, I weigh 179 lbs. Bmi of 28.13 which is, I guess, fat. Naked on my scale at home (less keyring, jacket, jeans, shoes, wallet, cellphone, sweatshirt, belt) I weigh 172. Still fat but less fat. I am working on it.
But this is not what I am here for. I am here for "Can you fix my fucking hand?" and "When will I be useful again?". Didn't get much but handwaving about that. "We will have you back next week for xrays to see if anything has shifted. If there is movement, we will have to surgery." and "eight weeks in adults is considered average time to heal"
Ortho lady, you are not bringing me joy.
