Could have been worse. We got about five inches of snow, followed by rain, sleet, the ever-popular "wintery mix" and another dusting of snow. It plowed fine (once I jumped the truck to get it started, will have to look into truck battery issues later this week), chains did great, plow did great. Two thumbs up for tire chains! These are technically for-ice v-bar chains because my road has an ice surface from about mid-January to the end of February every year. North face, never melts out, is uphill (about 400 feet over two miles) to get to the hard road. Tire chains are probably the best idea I've had in the last ten years.
