which_chickTrue confessions time: I still think AYB-memes are funny. If it were possible to date fuck Cats, I would so be doing that. I find his borgishness attractive, plus also he's anime-colored and gets all the good lines. Yay!
Pony lady was cancelled this week due to inclement weather. Snow and sleet are not good companions for driving to Altoona.
Dad goes back to Mexico on Saturday. Here's hoping that, if he is NOT off-to-Mexico and instead languishing in the local hospital due to some unspecified life-threatening illness, he will have the good graces to LET HIS KIDS KNOW instead of not saying anything, which is what he did last time. And yes, I'm still pretty pissed about that.
The hand-made caramels (see previous post) are tastylicious. (If tastylicious isn't a word yet, it will be by the time I get done. There are enough s-sounds in it that it's better and more salivarily appropriate than either tasty or delicious and a worthy, more deservesome portmanteau I have never met. Yes, I *am* speaking English. Deservesome is also a word. I was actually torn between deserveful and deservesome and again, went with the s's. "Deserving" is lame and we won't be going there anytime soon.) The recipe made lots more caramels than I can eat in a reasonable timeframe. Let me mail them to you! Send me a mailing address and I will send you a small package of home-made caramels! (Not kidding. Caramels contain sugar, salt, corn syrup, real cream, and butter, which is why I didn't just ship them straight off to the household of NYR.)
Hrm. I also got word from the people I ordered carders from that the ones I ordered were back-ordered (Really? There's been a run on wool carding equipment? Uso da yo!) but they also said that there are these other ones, look just like the ones I ordered, only twelve bucks cheaper and available now instead of in two weeks. Right. I told 'em to send me what they had now.
