May. 29th, 2007 03:27 pmTenant Alecia's eviction was at 1 PM today. While Tenant Alecia is (of course) still in jail, her mother took the eviction as an opportunity to inform us all that Alecia was going to GET OFF because that state cop sat right there and did the heroin with Alecia. Y'know, I can testify to that in court, if anyone is interested.
I learned that the tenants thought they had until midnight tonight to leave because redneck tenants and hangers-on do not know that 5-29-07 at 12:01AM means "midnight plus one of 5-28-07" and not "midnight plus one of 5-29-07". Constable Deremer carefully explained to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Not-The-Tenant that even though they could not tell time, they still had to be out of the fucking apartment by the time the locks got done being changed.
I learned that yes, it is indeed legal to take pictures of people who are standing on Pitt Street in broad daylight. Pitt Street is a public place, you see, and I wasn't following people or anything. Besides, I was on my property. I was peaceful. (Pictures will be here later, so that my mother can see the heroin tenants.) I already knew this, but Alecia's Mom apparently learned it after she called 911 to have a police sent to the location to STOP ME from taking pictures. The police didn't stop me from taking pictures. The police was rather amused.
Tenant Alecia's friend or whatever called her people on the cell and spent rather a lot of time explaining how this wasn't over yet and how she was going to sue and such. I am, again, shaking in my boots. I imagine her suing will go as well as Alecia's Mom's appeal of the landlord-tenant complaint. :)
Alecia's Mom informed us that the reason we got away with everything was that we were one of the largest heroin dealers in the county and that we sold lots of drugs out of our office. We are apparently in tight with all the crooked cops and stuff. This was news to me, so I called M. to inquire where all our drug profits were -- I ain't seeing 'em, so where dey at? M. denied knowing anything about any drug profits, but I'm sure she's lying. We'll have to fire her.
The apartment is a shithole. Pictures to follow, later this evening.
