which_chickHorse thing went reasonably well last night. We got a late start, the trailer *still* has a flattening tire (it loses air but will hold long enough for one day of use), I had to haul Dee's colt to the house first (hence the late start), and we saw bears and two cars. The IRH was more upset about the cars than the bears. In fairness, the cars were a lot closer. Also, driving through Breezewood at dusk with a trailer that totally lacks running lights, taillights, and turn signals is not much fun.
After that, Joe called because he was up for the weekend and I went up there to visit until 11:30, which is why no update last night. Today is the craft outing with cousin Heather and her daughter Tess. Tomorrow is another horse adventure. I'm going to have to remember to put booties on the IRH's front feet. Everywhere we ride is rocky and her feet are sore.
