Today was ups and downs.

Up: Got the first part of my camera order.

Down: Not the camera. Lens is very sexy, but it would be sexier with a camera. It did come with a red-fabric-lined case of sexiness but without a camera to hook it to, it's as much fun as wearing a strap-on and masturbating.

Up: Got a free pyrex 9x13 baking dish (with flexible airtight lid) from Heroin Addict tenant

Down: Had to wash same.

Up: Got like ten pairs of free blue jeans from Heroin Addict tenant. (For crafting. There is no way on earth that I could possibly fit into "Size 3 Short" ultra-low-rise miss's jeans. Not even lycra can get me there.

Down: Half of them contained lycra or spandex. (I do not wish stretch fabrics in the craft project.)

Up: Took lots of money to bank.

Down: My two favoritest bank ladies in the whole entire bank have quit to go work for the new bank and now instead of very-capable-Lisa and very-capable-Cindy, I have undifferentiated new girls who don't know how we like our banking done. Christ, now I have to figure out who's competent and learn names and make conversation all over again.

In news that was halfway up and neither up nor down, I called the surgeon guy and inquired about having him look at my wrist issue. (It's ganglion cysts. I've mentioned them before. They're getting bigger and they're hitting the fucking nerve and I'm tired of the whole mess.) Yay. I have an appointment to be having that looked at in April. Perhaps I will have my camera by then. It'd be nice, for sure, if my doctoring could come in chunks every other year so that I didn't have to pay the fucking $1500 deductible every fucking year. I don't know that the wrist thing will get out of Deductible-Land... depending on how expensive it is, the whole thing may be out-of-pocket. Because I have blue cross / blue shield, I did skip the primary care provider part of the program because I already know what the damn lumps are and I know that Jill (the Primary Care Provider) cannot fix them. Jill the PCP would have said, "These are volar ganglion cysts. Iffn you want them gone, talk to a surgeon." I do not need to see the movie if I know how it comes out, thanks. Instead of seeing Jill, I went directly to the can-fix-the-lumps guy.
