So I spent quite a bit of Saturday driving around in places that were not Langhorne, PA, looking for either Route 1 or 413 N with rather less success than you might suspect. I visited New Jersey (by accident) twice. It costs money to get out of New Jersey and it should come as no surprise that people pay the escape tolls quite willingly.

While I was tooling around (at high rates of speed, mind, because if I'm lost, I figure I will find out where I am going more quickly if I drive faster.), I spent my time listening to radio stations that play music I do not generally get to hear on the radio. I don't actually listen to much radio apurpose because the work truck has a CD player and my laptop *is* the radio at my house and the only radio choices are (a) the redneck rock station and (b) the country station. Oh, or conservative talk radio. I prefer CDs. At work we listen to the country station, but that's not because I like it. We do not have a rap/hiphop station choice, there being absolutely no market for that sort of thing where I live. In the greater Philadelphia metro area, though, there's a market and a choice of stations.

Now, I have unmet wants. This being LJ, we're all about my unmet wants. Here's the current list:

Smack That by Akon. This is catchy. I'm not sure *why* and I had to google for to find out what the hell a Lamborghini Gallardo was, but it's catchy. I need this.

Jumpin' Jumpin' by Destiny's Child. This is also catchy on repeated listenings. I don't like chicks who rap. At all. I don't. (Salt N Pepa don't count.) But I like this.

Ridin' Dirty by Chamillionaire. I am with the catchy. This was originally done by UGK but I rather suspect the one getting excessive airplay is Chamillionaire.

Fergilicious by Fergie. I wish I could say I didn't like this song. I wish I could say that. It's so... so... words fail me. But I like it.

There was another track that came up on the radio that I liked but I don't remember what it was. The radio is really not THAT good for finding new music unless you can snag enough lyric to be google-able. My thing is that if I can't remember your shit until I get to the internets to find out who the hell you are and what your song is called, I probably don't need to buy your shit.

You know, with the amount of "wiggers" around here, you would think that a hip-hop station would go over in this area. Not to mention that a lot of chicks are into hip-hop.

I sent you an email regarding the upcoming weekend, by the way. (I mention it here, because I'm not sure if I sent it to the proper account...)
