which_chickBusy day at work -- fixed floor collapsing underneath toilet, fixed leaking sink trap thing, fixed circulator pump and leaking radiator. Chatted up tenant about gun found on top of building and sound of gunfire at night. It's telling how the area has changed that instead of "spotlighting", I immediately thought "drug dealers" even though it was an unsawed off shotgun with a flashlight strapped to the barrel. *sigh* And the gunfire was accompanied by very bright lights, enough to light up a bedroom like it was morning. And *still* I thought "drug dealers" instead of "spotlighting". Definitely we have a heroin problem around here.
On the way home from work, I picked up half a loaf of banana bread from cousin Heather's house. It is quite good, has walnuts, and is even better because it's got I did not have to cook this written all over it.
