These are from my WinAmp. I skipped songs without any lyrics, those skits between rap tracks, and stuff that wasn't in English. I also skipped songs by artists that were already represented once and removed all Marty Robbins and Clancy Brothers tunes from the list to improve the sample. Just because I know all the words to O'Reilly's Daughter and The Hanging Tree is no reason to expect that other people do.

When I was younger I was a construction worker and a warehouse manager. I worked with and managed rednecks of all stripes. In fact, since I was in Pennsylvania construction, I would bet good money that I have spent more time with people from the backwoods South than anyone else in this thread. :)

(Pennsylvania construction was full of southerners who fled north to get away from their crushing local poverty.)
