Our healthcare system is broken.
Dec. 29th, 2024 06:27 pmSo my friend went roller skating with her kids and her friend and her friend's kids today. While skating, she fell and hit her head in a fairly solid sort of way. She does not have health insurance.
( It's expensive, is why. She's young and healthy, is why. She figured it would be OK to not have it, is why. Her husband left the horrible soul-crushing job that he hated even though it had healthcare to go freelance for his mental health and general wellbeing, is why. They figured it would be OK, is why. )
