Since I bought my 2007 Honda Fit in 2013 or whatever, it's had a godawful aftermarket shift knob that SPUN AROUND THE STICK and was loose and shitty. I drove it like that from 2013 until recently, when one of the three set screws that attached the shift knob to the stick fell out. With only two of the three set screws to secure it, the shift knob came off in my fucking hand.
I can, as we can tell from how long I drove my car like that, tolerate a godawful aftermarket shift knob that spins around the stick but I cannot tolerate a godawful aftermarket shift knob that COMES OFF THE STICK IN MY FUCKING HAND. I do have limits and shift knob that comes off in my hand is a hard limit.
( So I went to Amazon... )
