Apr. 17th, 2011 05:00 pmI am still loving the gps watch thing. It is awesome. Its graphs and charts are awesome. I am having entirely too much fun with the thing.
Saturday we did coggins clinic in driving rain and annoying mud. It was raw and unpleasant weather. Raimah jumped over the running water alongside Truax's driveway, knocked me down, and trampled me while climbing to the top of the bank. I was not amused. My ankle is kind of puffy and bruised-looking but it works ok. I didn't have Nick done because we didn't go anywhere last year but the competitive ride and I'm taking Whimsy to that anyway.
Today I didn't do much -- moved the jumps out of the hayfield. We have a *lot* of jump stuff. I had sort of forgotten how much stuff we had, over the winter, but we have a lot of jump stuff. Wow. I also schlepped ten miles (at 15:30/mile, sustained), down to the CCC camp and back on Oregon Road. Gonna build a fire (house is chilly) and do laundry now. I need to fence the trees but it is supposed to be reasonably nice and warm tomorrow afternoon, so I'm going to do it then. Also, tomorrow is a short day, weighted hike up the hill, shouldn't take more than forty minutes or so.
