Mar. 13th, 2011 08:12 pm155.4 on La's scale today after a weekend of eating badly. (This was 158 on same scale as of 12-20-10, so progress. Very slow progress, but I'll take what I can get.)
4 miles to stop sign and back, 60 minutes. Pace 4 mph, legs felt pretty good after yesterday's long outing. Route for next weekend's long outing (10 miles) has been set: up hill to Hull's, make right and head to Snowfield. Down Snowfield to ATV trail, make right. Follow to Red Bank. Make LEFT onto Red Bank, cross creek, go uphill across old turnpike to Oregon. Make right on Oregon and head up hill to the road. Follow the road down into the valley but make the turn towards the far side and loop around that way to get the full ten mile experience. 10.19 miles according to google maps.
Also, La's doing six-and-a-half miles after work every day this week. I think I will try to join her for at least three of those. The other two days I would like very much to work on my hills. Saturday should be the rest day this week, long run will be on Sunday.
