Mr. Palmer owns 221 N. Spring Street, which is currently uninhabited. I know this because it has no heat. I know that it has no heat because its pipes froze. Among the frozen pipes in the basement at 221 N. Spring Street is the pipe that goes to 219 N. Spring Street, where four of my tenants have no fucking water today. I have placed several polite but frantic-sounding calls to Mr. Palmer this afternoon but apparently he's not home from work yet. One hopes he is not on sabbatical in Laos.

One of the amazing things about facebook is the people who "friend" you. One of the people who friended me is the dreadful little girl who nearly ruined that sweet bay mare I broke a couple of years ago. She's hopelessly illiterate. Her posts are delightful. Today's effort:
