I did some drum carding last night. It's surprisingly soothing. Alpaca (I'm working on carding the dark grey into ready-to-spin batts) is not my favorite, though -- the damn stuff is flyaway static and it gets everywhere. (Not, mind, that you could tell in my trainwreck of a house. First off, how could you find it among all the cat hair?) I'm wondering if a spray bottle of water would help keep things a little more in line.
