Mar. 29th, 2008 11:08 pmI stopped by at cousin Heather's house on Friday after work. I'd had to run into Bedford to fix a 4 PM call about a shower diverter. Shower diverters are the thing you pull to get shower in normal tubs. They're pretty easy to replace -- all you need is a pipe wrench and some of that white teflon tape stuff and the correct kind of diverter. (Easy way to get the correct kind of diverter: take the broken one with you to the hardware. The hardware will not laugh -- they get people all the time carrying some kind of part that they need help with. It's their job to not-laugh while directing you to the shower diverter section of the store.
