さて、ある火曜日の朝のことだ。

Anyway, it was a particular Tuesday morning. Passive voice attacks and I am helpless. I didn't make the saving throw, here. If this were English, the thing would be an introductory dependant clause like, say, "Anyway, one particular morning..." However, I am not man enough to do these by the paragraph. I am only man enough to do sentence-level translations. So, we have passive voice. The diagram is nice, though. I like my diagram for this one.

In other news, my Rose du Rescht bloomed this morning, safely ensconced in the deer-proof portion of my yard, the part with really attractive chickenwire six feet high around it. It has a heavy, dense rose fragrance... like multiflora without the musky note. I'm quite pleased (this is the first year I've seen it bloom) with this... I have several others which should first-time-bloom this year, among them Stanwell Perpetual, Charles de Mills, a freebie plant-swap rose, and a couple of rugosas. Pictures as and when they happen.
