Aug. 17th, 2004 03:51 pmI went to Amazon.com today to pick up a copy (used, paperback) of Andersonville, which Erin O'Connor has been pimping on her blog, Critical Mass. Amazon had used copies of Andersonville. Goody. They were cheap. Swell. I got one. It cost me slightly less than two bucks, not including shipping.
Since that was quick and easy, I poked around a little to see what else I might like to buy. In retrospect, this was probably not the smartest move I've ever made. Why yes, I have been meaning to get the second half of Saiyuki on DVD. Sure, I'll do that now. And the new Pratchett is coming out in October. Pre-order? Sure. And by the way, do I want to see Shaolin Soccer? Hell, why not?

It should definitely take me longer to spend three hundred and seventy dollars.
