I am learning a lot with this wrist thing. Broken wrist is not an emergency. We'll wrap it up and send you home with or without overpriced ibuprofen, your choice. Call the orthopedic people when you get a chance. No hurry.

YEah. They can't cast it until the swelling goes down. Did they at least splint it?

Yep. Ace bandages and some cotton fluff and a plaster-like moulded thing. it's sorta-removable... I rewrapped it last night b/c of throbbing pulse in fingertips that i thought were a bit too cool. now it is supportive, wrist is immobile, but fingers are warm and non-throbbing.
