which_chick | Ponies and deer season. Good times!

So today, due to The Most High and Holy Opener, we started our two weeks of work in the relatively limited surrounds of the driveway. Bird, obvs, will be spending the time working on his Pee Yaff preparatory work. We are working on lift-n-hold-n-set-down-underneath-yo'self drills, in hand. While there is a tappy stick, it's not super exciting and he's getting the hang of it pretty nicely.

Also drug project pony Snap out of the field and beat on her. Reviewed her ground work, threw a person on her, led her around a bit. It was fine. All fine. We're gonna try again tomorrow. I don't LOVE deer season, but it does tend to focus my efforts on project ponies b/c I can't ride.
