Date: 2007-12-25 03:20 pm (UTC)And 8-2 is Captain Hook, of course!
In 10-6, lymantrids are the family that include gypsy moths, but I just checked, and there's like, a thousand other species in that family too. I don't really feel like looking for one that has some sort of deer reference in the name, so instead I'm going to guess that the peppered moth.....errr, never mind. Wiki says that the peppered moth, which famously turned back to white once the brits cleaned up their air, is in the family Geometridae.
11-9 is the Queen of Hearts.
13-9 sounded familiar, but I had to google it (http://www.4literature.net/Rudyard_Kipling/Taking_of_Lungtungpen/) to remember. That's cheating, right?
15-10 might go back to Kipling? (http://www.boop.org/jan/justso/armadil.htm)
....okay, I have to stop. I have other things to do, too.
