I'd like to mention that the NYT has two video features on Down Syndrome today. Apparently I'm ahead of them by about two weeks.

I got the stitches taken out of my wrist today. They put little pieces of tape over the wound, like they did with the hysterectomy. I wonder if they really think I'm going to let them there for a week. Wrist is still kind of lumpy, but Important Doctor Person says it will get somewhat less lumpy over time. I told him that if it didn't, I was going to be rather pissed. Unfortunately since he is an Important Doctor Person instead of some rube with a car-repair shop, he doesn't actually have to fix things to get paid. He just has to TRY to fix things and he gets paid regardless of whether or not they actually get fixed.

In other news, the grocery store did not have limes today. :( I need limes for the thing this weekend.
