All ya'll have those programmable signs that you can put the time and temperature and a short message or whatever on, right? I drive by your damn signs pretty regular and I know you have 'em, so don't go looking like you don't. However, your signs are not being used well.

Socktoberfest #6

I promised a picture of how I knit two socks at one time without doing anything cool like knitting one sock inside the other one or something called the magic loop but instead using a botched mess involving one really long addi turbo circular and five bamboo DPNs (two for each sock and one for a working needle).

For those among us who know without being told why the socks are called Hooves of Hot Iron, I mention in passing that Wintersmith is now available in your more discerning bookstores. I got my copy from Amazon.com today and had it read before dinnertime.

Also, I think I know what I want for showing up to my cousin Heather's house at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning to help paint her bedroom. She's got positively buckets of music, quite a lot of it stuff I have never heard of. I'll take my laptop and rip that which looks interesting. Yep. That'll be fair compensation for the work.
