Oct. 28th, 2004 11:58 amPut Mezcal on the horse trailer today. That took longer than I thought it would, but I worked hard to keep it low-key and suggestive with a minimal amount of actual whapping. ValJean offered more unhelpful comments. I'm sure he thinks he's being amusing. Took Nick for a walk. Today we went down to the covered bridge and across it, so the full distance. She blew up at a tractor, another tractor, a school-students minivan, and assorted and sundry other vehicles. *sigh* I don't know if she's any better than she was when we started this crap two years ago or not. If there's improvement, it's pretty incremental.
My damn hip hurts --still. I don't think it's going to get any better. I started sleeping on the other side and that hasn't helped. Fuck it. I'm walking on it anyway. It can hurt all it wants, 's not gonna stop me. Uncooperative fucking joint. Definitely not a team player.
Also, am I the only person in the non-religious right? Damn near everything I read these days (and I do read a lot of left-leaning things because I agree with the left on many issues) starts in on the creationist-believing Right, the churchgoing Right, the Every Sperm is Sacred Right. I've about had it, here, okay? I'm not a religious person -- I think the whole thing is fairy tales for grownups. I don't believe in creationism or intelligent design. My views on politics happen entirely without reference to someone's bearded vengeance demon in the sky. I may be wrong, dead wrong, but it ain't because of Jehovah's say-so. Surely I can't be the only one...
