In other news, there will be making of pork vindaloo tonight. Yay!

In other, other news, Roy has said I can have his green grapes as raw material for my venture into the world of green-grape-jelly this weekend. (Note to self: pick up five pounds of sugar at the grocery tonight.) I will be working with the unknown, prolific, green, seeded, slipskin grapes growing at my brother Roy's house. The nursery shipped them as red seedless Canadice grapes. By the time it became apparent that these were not going to be red, seedless grapes, the vine was fifteen feet long and loaded with huge numbers of grapes. Whatever it is, it's healthy, vigorous, and prolific. And green. Not at all purple. *sigh*

Now, Concord grapes make better jelly than any other grapes in the world. They're grapier than anything else out there and they're gloriously purple. They are entirely proper and completely suited for being made into jelly. You, and I, and the fine folks at Welch's are all aware of that. If I had 'em, I'd use 'em. I don't have 'em this year. Maybe next year.
