Nov. 1st, 2006 09:26 pmI am a bad cat owner.
I ran out of cat food yesterday. I failed to purchase cat food on the way home from work today. The cat generally gets fed in the evening after I get home from work. This evening, every time I have ambled past what is generally known to the cat as the cupboard in which the cat food lives, the cat has made the lack of cat food in her bowl known by standing near the cupboard and meowing piteously. Now I feel guilty. My damn cat is making me feel guilty.
I know, in my heart of hearts, that the cat will not starve to death in one night. Thing is, I don't know if the cat knows that.
