Even in the (desperately needed) rain this is a gorgeous time of year. I was out yesterday playing barberry (the green-up is almost far enough along to make barberrying less easy) in the misty not-quite-rain and everything was just so many colors of green. It's beautiful. The dogwoods are holding on, drifts of horizontal white in the many many greens.
I've been getting out and about on the pony a little, working with the rehab pony project (he's doing well), starting up my barberry project for the spring, etc. Today's kind of warm and sunny, think I'll see about trying to spend some time outside. :) It's a nice day for it.
Today I made progress on the spite chocolates. I've been contemplating my revenge spite chocolates and I not only have A Cunning Plan, I have some COMPONENTS ready to go. YAY!
I only have one guaranteed four-day-off-in-a-row holiday per year and that's Thanksgiving. I am, I suppose, thankful that it exists but not as thankful as I might be.
