Let's see how I did with my modest proposal, shall we?

A while back I mocked the whole mass deportation thing by going completely over the top about it. I offered a modest proposal as to how best to accomplish this objective, with some things that they definitely should implement.



The first thing I suggested was #bountiesforillegals. No, seriously. I suggested bounties for illegals as a way to expedite and encourage the rounding up of illegals.

I was, er, not being serious. I was being sarcastic, like, seriously over-the-top sarcastic in a Jonathan Swiftian sort of way, along the lines of "raise them gloriously and systematically for food purposes" as a means of disposing of the excessive Irish babies. However, legitimate elected officials in two different states (Mississippi and Missouri) have also suggested #bountiesforillegals but they were apparently serious about it. For real. *headdesk*

I suggested detention centers. I did not have Gitmo on my bingo card, though. Clearly I wasn't trying hard enough.

As for feeding unadoptable dogs and horses to the illegal immigrants, well, they're still getting organized with their plans. Watch this space for developments.
