This is just to say...
I am enjoying more than I probably should the Scholomance books by Naomi Novik.
But which_chick, the second book only came out yesterday.
Yes, and I have read it. And now I want to go back and read the first one again so that I can read the second one right afterward.
I may schedule that for this weekend, pending rain.
These are books that I could pick apart the worldbuilding but I don't want to because I'm having rather a lot of fun there and if I started picking apart the worldbuilding, then I couldn't have the fun.
I like the hero. She's great. I like the school, also great. I like the concept of how magic works. Just me over here living my best fantasy magical boarding school life, okay?
