Home Improvements -- TILED TUB SURROUND!!!!

I spent my labor day weekend doing stuff. I looked in on a tenant with a leak issue. I rode my horse on a two mile trail ride. I helped gather up and stack four hundred square bales (and fell one leg through a hay-covered hole in the barn floor). I helped a younger person (age like 20) with horsemanship skills and saddle fit. I attended a cookout (featuring amazing brisket). I mixed up fifteen pounds of hot sausage and froze it. And I tore out the crappy tub surround and drywall, hung cement board, and tiled the tub surround in nice tile that matches my felted bath mat.

Bruise on leg from falling through barn floor. Hand for scale.

Tile work, sort of full view. (There is one small half-a-bullnose missing in this picture. I have to get another piece and put it in. Will take two minutes to fix, is not in a gets-wet area). Not all of this is grouted and I do need to silicone caulk the tub-tile intersection. (The tub is not entirely rigid, it has a tiny amount of wiggle that will destroy grout. For this reason, silicone is a better option than grout for the tub-tile intersection.)

Note how corners line up. All the dark grout seams you can see are ungrouted. When they have grout, they turn white. Here is a more detailed shot that shows this better.

I really like the blue tile. But now the bathroom is the wrong color. It needs to be white with some sort of blue trim work, possibly stenciled details. I will think on it.
