(no subject)

I had a pretty quiet Sunday, which is par for the course. Generally I don't do much with my Sundays.

I didn't take anything particularly stunning, though the don't-totally-suck shots are over at my flickr. I'm not going to bore you people with them when I know you're really here for my stellar and uplifting prose. Also, as an FYI, someone looking for a nice, cheap present for me could upgrade my flickr for twenty-five dollars so that I could upload absolutely buckets of crap in a month instead of the limited amounts of crap that I currently am allowed to upload.

I'm still getting the hang of the camera, which is to be expected. I'd really like to play with it when the weather outside isn't grey and rainy but since my superpowers do not yet include controlling the weather, that'll have to wait until we actually get spring. (For my relatives in more southern climes who are operating under the impression that it is spring where I live, please go look at the flickr pictures. How much green do you see?)

I visited Grandma today (partly to schedule our eye doctor visit departure on Tuesday, partly to drop off tins from her china closet, and partly to drop off some very tasty pork curry) and she seemed kind of down. Heather says that she thinks it's because grandpa died on the fifteenth. (I'd forgotten. I am a soulless android. Or something.) Anyway, she is falling asleep a lot more these days, just in the last four or five weeks. We're not sure why.

Some places it is spring. Get busy on the green thing. The purpose in staying here this long was to0 have spring when we got home.

Today it's thirty-three and snowing. I'm told that spring happens at the vernal equinox, which was March 21. Apparently it has been spring for damn near a month.
