Medical gatekeeping stuff is infuriating. I'm theoretically appreciative of HIPPA and making sure your medical records can't be accessed by someone pretending to be you or whatever rando off the street... but there's absolutely zero reason to deny the actual patient full access to their own records and results and imaging, etc.
