Plant updates

which_chickIn the exciting world of plant updates, I have News.
On the orchid front, both the orchid that bloomed last year and also rehab orchid "Roots" have sent forth flowering spikes. I will update when they actually bloom, but it generally takes a couple of months for them to get themselves ready to bloom so don't be impatient about it. The other two rehab orchids (Cabot and Blue) have made multiple new leaves but are not flowering yet. Maybe next year.
On the baby cactus front, I have some pictures. Everyone likes pictures, right?

I mean, there are others, but this should give you some idea of how things are progressing on the cactus seedling front. They're starting to look like reasonable cacti. There have also been some complete failures, which... eh. It happens. I'm going to try a few new batches this winter.
