Omg, guys, guys! Did you know that Portuguese Man of War ... animals(?) are colonial organisms composed of medusoid and polypoid zooids that are morphologically and functionally specialized. These are not ONE ANIMAL, they are a functionally animal-like thing that is made up of several kinds of different zooids. (Zooids are "single animals that is part of a colonial animal".)

How does that even work? Turns out we "poorly understand" how that works. Nice.
