I am pleased to report that first rides astride Project Horse were stellarly boring. PH stands quietly for all aspects of mounting. She walks and jogs sedately with a rider aboard (while being led). She more-or-less ground drives without a rider. Finally, she has start, stop, and turn (both sides) from rider direction without being led. That was the extent of riding practice today, but I think that was plenty to accomplish. Tomorrow is another day. Also, jog is comfy.
