Big healthy cucumber plants have producted two (2) cucumbers, one harvested too soon and one a monster whopper. All other female flowers are sitting there looking virginal and pretty until old-maid-dom sets in.

Cukes are a bee-pollinated plant.

Human-pollination experiment on one of the two plants starting as soon as I get up off my ass and find a paintbrush.
