Nov. 20th, 2010 07:43 pmI am pretty much not a food blogger. I mean, yeah, I talk about food and stuff, but that doesn't make me a food blogger. Food bloggers take pictures of their food. I do not take pictures of my food.
First off, I am not a good enough housekeeper to take pictures of my food. (I am not a good enough housekeeper to earn a "very poor housekeeper" rating.) If I made no special effort, there would be a lot of cat hair, dust, and clutter in the pictures. As these things are unappetizing in food photography, I usually just skip that stuff in favor of telling you that it's tastylicious. But today, I am home and fairly sick (cold) and there's nothing particularly exciting on my schedule except for, uhm, p. 506, Eggplant with Tomato and Garlic. So, let's make the most of it.
